At Lenoir-Rhyne we advocate for all children's access to safe and engaging learning environments and to nurturing interactions with caregivers. Study of early child development enlightens our community in understanding how to support developmental perception, cognition, and emerging social competencies. Empirical research confirms what "grandma knows", that play is learning and that our conversations and interactions with children provide them with models for productive and healthy lives.
